No. 1: Offensive creativity and diversity

For the last two seasons, the Browns have struggled to make teams pay for stacking the box against the run game. With both Baker Mayfield and Jacoby Brissett, opposing defenses weren’t really scared of either player consistently making them pay.

Deshaun Watson, though he may be rusty, is a much bigger threat that causes defenses to worry about being beaten over the top should they cheat forward with their linebackers or safeties.

Nick Chubb and the running game haven’t been controlled much with stacked boxes and add in the creativity of a mobile quarterback adds more layers. Kevin Stefanski no doubt has been thinking about the many different ways to attack defenses with Watson since the trade was completed back in March.

Will they be able to completely unlock the offense this week? No, but you will see many new wrinkles in these final six games. For a defense that lacks difference-makers if the Browns mix up the creativity and different looks, the Texans won’t be able to keep up.

Cleveland will likely add in some of the run-pass option plays and if you are trying to figure out who to cover Nick Chubb or Watson the advantage is all Browns all day long.
