Predicting the Browns final 6 games with Deshaun Watson at quarterback
Browns vs. Ravens
This will be a tightly contested game, as most of the recent battles have been between the two franchises that share a history together. Opposite of the Bengals series, the Ravens have had the Browns’ number, winning four of the last five and six of the previous eight.
In Week 7, Baltimore escaped with a 23-20 victory in a game that saw the Browns limit star quarterback Lamar Jackson to just nine completions for 120 yards and 59 rushes on 10 carries. Cleveland was able to sack Jackson three times.
The Ravens rushed for 160 yards as a team, so that is something Cleveland will need to hone in on.
Watson was brought in for games of this magnitude and ultimately he will be what shifts the tides in this rivalry. The Browns’ offense as a whole is looking a lot better than the Ravens’ at this moment in time, but Jackson is such a dynamic playmaker who can switch gears at any time.
Expect another tough, hard-hitting affair that will come down to the wire. This will be the first home start for Watson, so expect FirstEnergy Stadium to be rocking all game long. Depending on what happens over the next two weeks, this game could possibly be flexed to the Sunday Night Football game of the week.
