Cleveland Browns – No. 1: David Njoku

David Njoku, the Browns’ talented tight end was sidelined last week with a minor injury. He’s been hit by the injury bug a few times over his career and has missed three games this year. Despite that, his stats are decent and some of the best of his time in Cleveland. This season he’s grabbed 41 passes for 464 yards and scored two touchdowns.

He will likely surpass his best season numbers from 2018 when he collected 56 passes for 639 yards. He’s also had some good games against the Bengals in his history. He’s caught 20 passes for 247 yards and scored four touchdowns. Njoku missed the Bengals game back in October, so it’ll be good to have him return in this matchup and provide another outlet for Watson.

The Browns quarterback Watson has also liked targeting his tight ends when he played for the Texans, and he’ll likely look Njoku’s way a few times in this battle. Njoku has also had some memorable catches against the Bengals. See the highlight of one of those catches below.

Watson will have many options on Sunday and by getting Njoku back, it’ll make things even more intriguing. Defenses like the Bengals playing against the Browns offense must be having nightmares thinking about what could happen to them.
