Browns vs. Ravens: Prediction and odds for NFL Week 15
By Randy Gurzi
The Cleveland Browns host the Baltimore Ravens in their final home game of the season. Here’s a look at the odds as well as a final score prediction.
At 5-8, the Cleveland Browns need a miracle to make the preseason. They currently have a 0.4 percent shot at making the playoffs, which isn’t very good.
However, they suddenly have a much better shot at securing a win in their upcoming matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
While it was already known Lamar Jackson likely wouldn’t play, the Ravens could be down to their third-string quarterback with Tyler Huntley in concussion protocol.
It’s never good to see players injured (and we surely never root for that) but the fact remains that Cleveland has a much better shot at beating Baltimore with Anthony Brown than they do either of the other two quarterbacks. Perhaps that’s why they favored early despite their recent loss to the Bengals.
Browns vs. Ravens Odds Week 15
Cleveland comes in favored at -3 points with a Moneyline of -172. The Ravens’ Moneyline is currently +144 and the over-under is 37.5 as the oddsmakers seem to think this will be a low-scoring affair.
Browns vs. Ravens Prediction Week 15
To be fair, those who predicted a low overall score are probably right. Deshaun Watson looked better in his second start for the Browns but their wide receivers suddenly forgot how to get separation. In addition to that, the offensive line is struggling without Ethan Pocic as the running game has gone away and Watson is spending much of his time running to avoid defenders.
While the Baltimore defense will surely make life hard on Cleveland, their offense poses little threat with Brown. Huntley would be better, but still not as dangerous as Jackson. As long as the league MVP isn’t suiting up, the Browns should win their final home game of the season.
Prediction: Browns 23, Ravens 9
