Browns offensive player who shined No. 1: Deshaun Watson

It was by no means a complete game from Deshaun Watson who had some major struggles in the first half. The offensive line was losing reps, the wide receivers were struggling to get open, and Watson held onto the ball too long trying to make something happen. But in the second half of the game, Watson showed fans exactly what they had been waiting to see.

Watson showed why a team would be willing to trade multiple first-round picks and pay a massive amount of money to get him on their roster. He was accurately fitting a few passes into some tight windows while extending plays with his legs and picking up positive yards when you thought he should’ve been sacked.

The future hung on what the team could accomplish in the final six games with their franchise quarterback and they showed major strides in the second half. Watson gave glimpses of how he can create something out of nothing that not every quarterback in the NFL is capable of doing and it’s exactly what the Browns needed to see.

Now the offense looks to put a complete game together against the Pittsburgh Steelers to end their season and build some momentum for 2023.
