No. 3: Mike White

The New York Jets have had almost as bad of luck at the quarterback position as the Browns have had over the last two decades. Almost.

Mike White showed hope at times and provided sparks in different moments, but he is not the guy to lead a team but would make a solid backup if need be.

White was drafted in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys but never saw the field until 2021 with the Jets. In his two seasons in the Big Apple, well Garden State, he made seven starts for Gang Green.

In those seven starts plus another game in which he came on in relief, White completed 62.2 percent of his passes for 2,145 yards, eight touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He also recorded a rushing touchdown. While not eye-popping numbers, he was serviceable.

Sadly for him, and the Jets, it did not translate to many wins. New York finished 2-5 in the seven starts White made, which is, well, not good. Again, he would come to Cleveland simply to be a backup to Watson, and potentially make an occasional start or two depending on injuries or anything else that would keep No.4 off the field.

Stefanski could really get the most out of White should Berry explore this option, but again, strictly in a backup role.

The Jets could potentially be in on the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes, should that become an option.
