Brunch with Brownie

Good early afternoon Browns fans!!

With nothing new to report out of Berea, our attention turns to today’s Pro Bowl in Honolulu, HI.

Usually, the Pro Bowl is just a run through the motions kind of affair, with no hitting to speak of, and a group of guys running half speed most of the time.

Today, however, there seems to be some excitement brewing in Hawaii, with teammates pitted against each other and some players picked late in the process, having  developed a chip on their shoulder.

Will be very interesting to see wide receiver Josh Gordon catching a slant across the middle taking a step and wondering if his own teammate, safety T.J. Ward will side step him, or lay a hit on him.  These types of teammate on teammate matchups are going to be all over the field today.

I for one, am very excited to see how this format plays out.

It will either reinvigorate a very stale game into something fun to watch again, or it may be the last time we see a Pro Bowl game again in the NFL
