Morning Browns Town!!!

Just as we suspected, several Browns were selected to represent the Browns in the 2014 Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

Making his seventh trip to the Pro Bowl is left tackle Joe Thomas, as is line mate and center Alex Mack, making his second trip.  As we saw yesterday in Breakfast with Brownie, Mack is a very important piece of the puzzle to get the Browns to the next level.  Pro Bowl centers don’t grow on trees, so take note Joe Banner!!

Three Browns will be making their first Pro Bowl appearances this year.  Wide receiver Josh Gordon, defensive back Joe Haden and tight end Jordan Cameron will also represent the Browns in the 2014 game as well.

All five of these guys are very deserving of this award and it shows that the Browns indeed have talent on this team, and are not that far off.

One more day and we will see where the Browns will finish in the standings and on the draft board…

Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon on hearing his name being called to play in the 2014 Pro Bowl.  “It definitely hit me a few minutes ago when I saw my face T.V.,” he said. “It’s almost a surreal event for me seeing as though exactly how this happened. I think of the turnaround, how things went for my life, but I’m definitely blessed and honored to have had this happen to me so early in my career. I can’t wait to get out there and show what I can do.”

Browns cornerback Joe Haden on what sending five Browns to the Pro Bowl means to the team.  “I’’m just excited that we have players on our team — this shows that they’’re the best at their position and we’re not far away at all,” said Haden, the No. 7 overall pick in 2010. “We’’ve got to find a way to get all this talent — we’’re missing a couple of pieces — but when we get everybody working together, we should be really, really good.””

>A big congrats goes out to the big five that made the Pro Bowl!!!!

>Is it far fetched to list Bryant as a guy who was snubbed from the Pro Bowl? It could make for an interesting story tomorrow…
