Miles Austin Still in Hospital
With the terrible loss to the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns fans may have missed a far more important issue. That is a long time to be in the hospital. Kidney issues are life altering and need to be taken serious. Because of the seriousness of the injury, only based on how long he has been in the hospital, it is possible that Austin is out for a few weeks. It is highly unlikely that he will play this weekend.
The veteran receiver has had a good season for the Browns, especially taking on a bigger role when Josh Gordon was out. For the season Austin has 47 receptions for 568 yards and 2 touchdowns. 34 of his 57 receptions have gone for first downs. He has been a big safety valve for Brian Hoyer in those important decisions.
We wish Austin the best in his recovery and will keep you up to date as we get more information.
