The Cleveland Browns close out the preseason tonight when they host the Chicago Bears. Here are some players and position battles to watch.

The Cleveland Browns are coming off a disappointing trip last week to Florida where the team did not look sharp in any aspect of the game in their 30-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tonight, the Browns wrap up their preseason schedule at home against the Chicago Bears.

Head coach Hue Jackson has already decided that he wants his starters to play at least part of the game tonight to continue to get work in. Jackson was unhappy with the performance in all three phases of the loss last week, and wants his starters to continue to tune up before the season opener on Sept. 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

” I think I’m going to think about it tonight, but they are going to play obviously,” Jackson said earlier this week. “I haven’t thought through exactly how much, but they are definitely going to play.”

Jackson hopes that tonight’s game offers one final dress rehearsal for the regular season, along with a final evaluation of the roster before the start of the regular season.

“I’m going to watch everything, along with our executive staff,” Jackson said. “We are at the stage of trying to put our best team together. How many spots, what the numbers are, I’m not sure of that, but obviously, we all know there are some. There are 53 that we have to make sure that we have here so we will work at it and we will see how this thing shakes out.”

Here are some players to pay particular attention to tonight.
