Cleveland Browns: Preparing for Kevin Hogan’s start in the DPD Podcast
The Cleveland Browns are on to another starting quarterback as Kevin Hogan will line up under center this Sunday in Houston.
Just when Cleveland Browns fans began to settle in to the 2017 season, the team has made a change at quarterback. It’s certainly not the worst idea after the 0-5 start.
Kevin Hogan is in after opening the preseason as the fourth-string quarterback, while DeShone Kizer, who opened as the third-string guy but started the regular season opener, heads to the bench. Isn’t that fun to read?
We discussed Hogan’s start and the future of the franchise in another heavy Friday episode of the DPD Podcast.
One thing to focus on this Sunday, which we discuss in the podcast, is the play of Deshaun Watson.

He is the latest quarterback passed on by the Browns who is off to a hot start to begin his career, and it is only a matter of time before the most passionate Browns apologists realize there has to come a time when talent is taken in the draft.

We talk about other fun topics including the latest mini-documentary featuring Josh Gordon which will surely have some fans excited, and others shaking their heads without much hope.

It is hard to predict Sunday’s outcome as this team has played some solid games this season, while others have been physically painful to watch. Maybe Hogan can turn things around. One can only hope.
