The Cleveland Browns have the chance to draft a quarterback number one overall in 2018 and stick with that player for several seasons.

The Cleveland Browns have a new general manager for the one millionth time and he is already saying things to make fans angry. Welcome to Cleveland.

But fans will get over this soon if John Dorsey can draft a quarterback that will lead this team to at least a few wins in 2018, and hopefully many more in the future.

Dorsey has come in and promised that finding a quarterback is his main priority, and he couldn’t have come into a better situation for just that. He should have the number one overall pick in the draft, and should have another pick in the top five or six picks of the draft.

Whether it be Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield or someone else, this team just needs to find a quarterback and commit to the guy for a few seasons. This isn’t some secret process that will be seen as revolutionary, but rather the first step to adding some stability to a team lacking any foundation at the position.

It doesn’t seem like a difficult concept to grasp, and it seems like Dorsey is aware he needs to find a quarterback before doing anything else.

We take a look at this and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
