The Cleveland Browns have not won in nearly one year, leading us to some interesting conversations on the latest episode of the DPD Podcast.

Talking about the Cleveland Browns after yet another 0-14 start is not an easy task. While fans of countless other teams are breaking down actual games, Browns fans are left looking ahead to another NFL Draft, hoping this is the one that turns the franchise around.

The Browns’ latest loss was no fun to watch, even though the Browns actually held a lead for a brief period of time.

It was a dud to watch, but it allowed us to have some colorful conversations on the latest episode of the DPD Podcast.

DeShone Kizer made some nice plays, but continued to regress overall as he makes throws that no quarterback should make at any level. His red-zone interception illustrated that point perfectly.

Hue Jackson seemingly still has job security, although rumors of the Cincinnati Bengals being interested in the head coach could mean Browns fans will only have to see Jackson twice in 2018. I’m not sure why the Bengals would want him, but it’s a crazy world we live in.

The Browns are taking on Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears next Sunday, looking to repeat the Christmas Eve magic from 2016. I don’t see it happening, but that was also true last year when I was prepared for an 0-16 season.

Next: 3 takeaways as the Browns fall to 0-14 in 2017

We will be back with a new episode on Friday to look ahead to that game. Maybe Hue Jackson will even be fired before then.
