A third-round pick out of Mississippi in 2014, Donte Moncrief has found a way to develop into a reliable target for the Indianapolis Colts. His best season came in his second year when he had 64 receptions for 733 yards and six touchdowns.

Looking to be a breakout star in the making, he then started to struggle with durability. Moncrief missed seven games in 2016 and another four in 2017. Even with the limited time this past year, he proved to be still developing into a solid player. Moncrief had a career low 26 catches, but a career high with 15 yards per catch.

The Browns could use someone like him on their roster. Moncrief plays well in the slot, but also has the size to line up out wide. He’s a big-bodied player with the build of a running back. He’s also still just scratching the surface of his potential.

One thing that could help him reach that potential in Cleveland is the recent arrival of Todd Haley. The former Pittsburgh offensive coordinator has that same title with the Browns, but also has a background in coaching receivers. He’s always been able to get the most out of his pass catchers and could help Moncrief become even better going forward.
