Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the news you need to know in order to keep up with the Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL

It looks as if the Cleveland Browns new draft consultant hasn’t changed his views on the incoming quarterback class in the 2018 NFL Draft. Scot McCloughan was brought in to consult the team ahead of the draft and he didn’t back down on his previous stance that Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is the top signal caller in the draft.

Obviously he isn’t alone in this regard as the Heisman Trophy winner has plenty of believers. He also has plenty of doubters, including a large base of Cleveland fans who would prefer a more traditional passer like Sam Darnold out of USC.

The draft itself is still way ahead of us, so for now this is all just simply talk. Still, it’s worth catching up on that story and many more with your Daily Dawg Tags.
