Round 6: Jake Wieneke, WR, South Dakota St

With their sixth-round pick, Cleveland goes for a 6-4, 213-pound receiver in South Dakota’s Jake Wieneke. He was able to successfully use his body to shield defenders and bring passes in at an alarming rate.

Even more impressive was how good he became near the goal line. Wieneke had 59 touchdowns in four seasons, while taking in 16 touchdowns in three of those years.

Cleveland struggled at receiver in recent years and they should do all they can to fix that. Adding a couple guys in the draft is a step in the right direction there as the competition will be key to improving there.

Round 7: Skyler Phillips, OG, Idaho State

With their final pick in this 2018 NFL Draft, the Browns add another body to the offensive line. This time it’s guard Skyler Phillips out of Idaho State. He’s a bit on the shorter side for an offensive lineman at 6-foot-2, but weighs over 320-pounds and is incredibly strong.

He’s also got some impressive versatility as he played every position except for center while with the Bengals. He could serve as a potential swing interior lineman, especially if he can prove capable of handling the center position.
