Round 2 Pick 64: Marcell Ateman, Oklahoma State, WR

With their final pick in the second round, which is also the last pick of the round, the Cleveland Browns address the wide receiver position. Their choice is Oklahoma State’s Marcell Ateman. At 6-foot-4 and 216-pounds Ateman has the size to beat corners out wide and put up some good numbers despite being second in the pecking order behind James Washington while at OSU.

Ateman went for nearly 20-yards per catch for the Cowboys in 2017 with 1,156 yards off 59 receptions. He found his way to the end zone eight times and could be a viable option if Josh Gordon doesn’t stay on the straight and narrow, or if Corey Coleman continues to have bad luck with injuries.

Round 3 Pick 65: Kalen Ballage, RB, ASU

Arizona State never used Kalen Ballage like a feature back and that could help him at the next level. He won’t have as much wear on him as other backs, but as he showed at the Combine, he’s just as athletic as any of them.

Ballage weighed in at 228-pounds, but still ran an impressive 4.46 in the 40-yard dash. He won’t be the game changer Saquon Barkley would have been, but he can help on the ground and as a pass catcher out of the backfield.
