The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the news you need to know in order to keep up to date with your Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL
For anyone not paying attention to the Cleveland Browns on Friday, you missed a lot. Around 4:30 EST, things started popping. First the Browns made a trade for wide receiver Jarvis Landry, which had people talking.
Rumors then started to swirl that they weren’t quite done after landing the former Miami Dolphins player. That proved true as they struck a deal to bring in Tyrod Taylor from the Buffalo Bills. After getting that quarterback, the rumor mill started popping again regarding the Browns and then we heard the news that they made yet another trade.
The final one sent 2017 second-round pick and 15-game starter DeShone Kizer to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for Damrious Randall. After all these trades, it’s crazy to think the Browns still own the No. 1 and No. 4 pick, as well as all their selections in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Welcome to the John Dorsey era Cleveland Browns fans. Now let’s hope they can turn this into some wins.
