1. Bashaud Breeland, CB, Washington Redskins

And the No. 1 player the Cleveland Browns could – and probably should – kick the tires on is Washington cornerback Bashaud Breeland. He’s arguably the best corner still on the market, and Cleveland was rumored to be interested in his services at one point.

Whether it had to do with them trading for Damrious Randall or not, those rumors never went very far. Breeland then signed with the Carolina Panthers on a three-year deal worth $24million. So why is he still available? Simple, Breeland didn’t pass the physical with the Panthers and saw his contract voided.

It was an unfortunate turn of events and the Browns should take advantage of this. It would make perfect sense to call him and see what they can do to get him in the orange and brown. Cleveland also made room for such a move with their recent trade of Jason McCourty, who joins his twin brother Devin with the New England Patriots.

There’s still plenty of time left for the Browns to make some moves, and even with the hot names off the market, they could find ways to improve during the following waves of the 2018 NFL Free Agency period.
