Cleveland Browns: Hue Jackson talks wins, but can he deliver?
By Randy Gurzi
Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson is talking about building a winning culture, but can he actually deliver on that?
That’s when the Browns started their offseason program and all the players got together. Jackson jumped right and and let them know that winning will start in that very room.
"“What an exciting morning to have all of you men back. Winning starts here. Winning starts today. Starts right now.” — Jackson said via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com"
From there Jackson went on to ask the team what they wanted this legacy to be. Which is a good question because there are many new faces ready to put their stamp on the organization.
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor, receiver Jarvis Landry, running back Carlos Hyde and free safety Damarious Randall all were in attendance as first-time Browns. They were huge additions as was offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

If that isn’t enough to get the blood flowing, they still own five draft picks in the first 64 selections of next week’s NFL Draft,
All that combined gives hope that this 2018 season can be a success, but there’s one huge question — is Hue Jackson the guy to lead them?
Jackson not only boasts a horrendous record, but he’s frustrated fans and players alike during his short stint. He once publicly burned former running back Isaiah Crowell for doing a good thing and bragged about how most coaches couldn’t have accomplished what he has in going 1-31.
To be fair, Jackson does seem to be trying. The hiring of Haley hints that the play calling should change hands as Haley is excellent in this role. He’s also been throwing out praise as he was complimentary of Taylor as the team’s quarterback according to Cabot.

Does any of that mean anything? Honestly no. Until actual games are played the jury’s still out and Jackson has just one win with Cleveland. At least we all know that this should be a fun season thanks to all the new additions.
