Daily Dawg Tags: Saquon Barkley doesn’t want to go to Cleveland Browns, unless they pick him
By Randy Gurzi
One reports says running back Saquon Barkley wants no part of the Cleveland Browns while another says he wants to be their LeBron, so who knows what’s going on.
Even the players are beating around the bush during the silly portion of the draft season. With the Cleveland Browns owning the No. 1 and No. 4 pick they’ve been tied often to running back Saquon Barkley.
The athletic freak out of Penn State is threatening to go incredibly early despite being a running back, but a reports surfaced that people in his camp wanted no part of him being in Cleveland.
As is often the case, that was denied and other reports came out stating Barkley wants to be to the Browns what LeBron James is to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
So what’s the truth? No one knows.

However, there probably is some truth to that reports as Barkley was seen recently sporting some New York Giants gear (they own the No. 2 pick). He probably then had to do some damage control just in case the Browns do select him — much like defensive end Myles Garrett had to after begging the Dallas Cowboys to draft him in 2017.
That’s just the nature of the draft season. The Browns front office wants to play it close to the vest with who they will draft and apparently some players are doing the same, because in all honesty they have to.
That Barkley story and more will be explored in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.
