The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all of the Cleveland Browns news that you need to know, including Jarvis Landry talking about the relationship that he had with Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been very open about how he felt about his situation with the Miami Dolphins. Before the Dolphins gave Landry the franchise tag this offseason, it was expected that Landry would leave Miami in free agency. The Dolphins decided to place the franchise tag on Landry before free agency.

But Landry made it known to the Dolphins management that he was not going to play this season on a franchise tag. Miami was not able to match what Landry wanted in a contract extension, which pushed the Dolphins into trading Landry to the Browns.

Since then, Landry has shared that he did not believe he was used properly in Miami’s offense. He also said that Cleveland’s quarterback situation is “a lot better” than the quarterback situation he played with in Miami.

Landry doubled down on his comments about Miami, and more specifically with Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

That story and more can be found in today’s edition of Daily Dawg Tags.

"So being firmly entrenched as the Browns’ No. 2 quarterback behind Tyrod Taylor coming out of the preseason and knowing it’s going to remain that way through training camp is a tough pill to swallow."

One of the biggest problems the Browns have had with rookie quarterbacks is the rookie being forced to play. If Mayfield can understand why the plan is for him to sit the entire 2018, it should greatly benefit his development.
