Cleveland Browns: 5 sure wins on the 2018 NFL Schedule
By Randy Gurzi
Week 3 at home against the New York Jets
Should these predictions come true, the Browns will be 2-1 at the absolute worst here. What great feeling that would be. And it isn’t out of the question.
After the opening game against their AFC North rivals in Week 1, the Browns head south to face off with the New Orleans Saints. It’s their second game against a playoff team from a season ago in only two tries to start 2018.
Week 3 however seems much easier to deal with. Cleveland comes back home and hosts a familiarity face in quarterback Josh McCown and his New York Jets.

Last season, the Jets struggled some and wound up with a record of 5-11. McCwon played hard for the team, but as was often the case when he was with the Browns, the talent around him wasn’t up to par and he had to deal with injuries.
McCown looks to have a similar scenario in 2018. There’s not much on the roster to be excited about this year, although rookie quarterback Sam Darnold give them hope looking down the road.
Anothet familiar face in this game will be Isaiah Crowell, the former Cleveland starting running back. He joined the Jets this offseason and had some criticism for his old team. While that may be discussed leading up to the game, it won’t make much of a difference.
Cleveland won’t be concerned with Crowell and the Browns get themselves another win here. For a team that’s been 1-31 the past two seasons, this one will be huge.
