The Cleveland Browns have a celebrity defender in Jake Paul. After recently defeating Deji in a boxing match, Paul now may have a match with Dez Bryant lined up.

The Cleveland Browns have plenty of celebrity star power backing them up. But internet and Youtube vlogging sensation Jake Paul has taken it to a new level.

After his boxing match, the Cleveland native and Browns fan called out Dez Bryant.

Some may have recently read my piece comparing Jake Paul to Browns quarterback Brogan Roback.

More from Browns News

The piece was having fun claiming Jake Paul is saving the Browns by secretly making the team as a quarterback named Brogan Roback. His goal is to end the suffering of Browns fans everywhere.

Well, Jake Paul is standing up for the Browns for real this time. The recent encounter between Jake Paul and Dez Bryant actually occurred. It is stranger and better than fiction. I couldn’t make this up if I tried.

Apparently Dez Bryant decided to be nice and congratulate Jake Paul’s brother Logan Paul on his recent boxing victory over KSI. But Bryant got the Paul brothers confused and twitter DM’ed Jake Paul by mistake. Bryant apologized to Jake saying the message was intended for his brother instead.

Jake’s response was classic. It embodied the collective response of Browns fans to the Dez Bryant visit, potential signing and roller coaster ride that ensued.

Paul’s response pokes fun at Bryant’s lack of any substantial offers to play in the NFL this year. Paul “mistakenly” congratulates him on a contract. Then says he meant it for Todd Gurley. Touché Jake Paul! Touché!

The caption to the tweet says it all. “Dez don’t want the smoke & no team wants Dez Bryant. GO BROWNS!!” And with that Jake Paul has challenged Dez to a boxing match. For his part, Dez sees this as a joke. When asked about it he stated,

"“I guess he called himself trying to clown..we can get in the boxing ring tho if he want smoke.” — Bryant via TMZ"

Hopefully, there will be a Jake Paul versus Dez Bryant match in the future. It would be a delight for Jake Paulers and Browns fans everywhere. There may even be a few disgruntled Dallas Cowboys fans who would like to watch.

In all seriousness, I have kids that love Jake Paul. I even took them to a Jake Paul concert. I have not taken him too seriously up to this point. But with this, Jake Paul is starting to earn my respect.

It’s every day bro!
