The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news that you need to know, including Jarvis Landry needing to step up.
The Cleveland Browns have been dealt blow after blow at the wide receiver position the past two weeks of the season.

Without the depth at the position, the Browns offense were needing Jarvis Landry to step up and shoulder most of the load at the position.

Instead, Landry struggled to make plays, including dropping a couple of passes. By the end of the game, Landry’s frustration was noticeable.
The Browns paid Landry significant money this off-season with the expectation that he would perform like a No. 1 receiver. For much of the season, Landry has failed to live up to those expectations.

Jarvis Landry must step up as more of a leader on and off the field – Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com
"During the Browns’ 38-14 loss to the Chargers when they were poised to string together back-to-back wins for the first time since 2014, Landry needed to make big plays and help out his struggling quarterback."
With how much the Browns have invested in Landry, he has not done much on the field to warrant the contract that he was given. The Browns need a wide receiver to start making plays, and Landry needs to be the guy to start helping Baker Mayfield in the passing game.
NaVorro Bowman workout with Browns is a bad sign about Joe Schobert’s health
The Browns will be bringing in free agent linebacker NaVorro Bowman for a workout on Tuesday, which likely means that Joe Schobert’s hamstring injury is much more serious than what Hue Jackson hinted at on Monday.
"Maybe a fresh start will help Breshad Perriman revive a career that hasn’t been what he thought it’d be when the Ravens drafted him 26th overall three years ago."
When Breshad Perriman plays his first snaps in a Browns uniform, they more than likely are going to be meaningful snaps with how few of options the team has at the position. If getting cut by the Ravens was a wake up call for Perriman and he turns his career around, the Browns will have benefited big time.
The next two weeks will tell Hue Jackson’s fate
Despite the two wins this season, it is apparent that the Browns are not well coached. That is why Martin McConnell believes that the next two weeks will determine Jackson’s future as the Browns head coach.
