The Cleveland Browns made the move to fire Hue Jackson as head coach on Monday, something that many believed should have been done much earlier.
The Browns will be getting a jump start on every other team to begin the process of hiring a new head coach, which could prove to be valuable.
With such a young team, the Browns need to be able to find the right coach that can use the player’s strengths, as well as helping them develop.

But with all of the young talent on the roster, including having a franchise quarterback, the Browns job could be the most attractive opening in this year’s cycle.

The Browns have a bunch of talented young players on the roster. With a few roster adjustments and the right coach at the helm, the Browns could be a dangerous team in the future. It would not be surprising to see a lot of top head coaching candidates consider Cleveland this off-season.

Now that Jackson is gone, a multitude of coaches are going to be named as possibilities to take over the Browns head coaching job. Martin McConnell believes that Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell should be the man to take over the job.
"For most coaches, the chance to work at the professional level is a dream. For Oklahoma Sooners football coach Lincoln Riley, such a move isn’t in sight.At least not “right now.”"
Being in the middle of a season, it makes sense that Lincoln Riley was not going to say that he was interested in moving to the NFL. But his response left a lot of options available, and he may view the Browns job as a great opportunity to jump to the NFL.
