Cleveland Browns rookie running back Nick Chubb had his best game in Week 10 and after watching the Cincinnati Bengals play their latest game, he could be in line for even more in Week 12

Week 10 was a huge win for the Cleveland Browns as they upset the Atlanta Falcons. While it was a complete team effort, running back Nick Chubb stood out and was well rewarded for his efforts.

In the win, Chubb had 176 yards rushing and a touchdown as well as three receptions for another 33 yards and a score. The rookie first won the FedEx Ground Player of the week and then topped it off with his second Rookie of the Week award as well.

After that, Cleveland headed into their bye week as they prepared for the Cincinnati Bengals. If Chubb was scouting their Week 12 opponent, he had to be salivating.

Cincinnati lost the game by just a field goal, but they couldn’t stop anyone from gaining yards on the ground. Quarterback Lamar Jackson went for 117 yards on 27 carries and Gus Edwards added 115 yards on 17 rushes. In all, the Baltimore Ravens had 265 yards on the ground with 54 attempts.

Of course, Chubb isn’t about to get 54 carries and the Browns will surely pass more than Baltimore did with Jackson. Even so, the rookie is a more accomplished runner than Edwards, so there’s no reason to think he can’t find a way to get his third 100-yard rushing game this year.

On the season, Chubb has 579 yards on 94 rushes. He’s good for 6.2 yards per attempt and has scored five touchdowns. He’s become the workhorse for the Browns and is inserting himself into the Offensive Rookie of the Year discussion.

Should he find as many holes as the Ravens runners did this week, he could be looking for another Rookie of the Week award while making a stronger case for the yearly award as well.
