2. Myles Garrett gets three sacks

Earlier this week, Myles Garrett opened up about his goals for this season. He said that he wanted to double his sack total from a season ago (when he had seven) and that the Pro Bowl was something he wanted to do. So far, he seems to be on the way to both.

When he made those remarks, he was second in voting for defensive ends in the Pro Bowl. He also has nine sacks, meaning if he gets just under one a game for the remainder of the season he’ll hit his mark.

Garrett, however, wants to shoot for more. According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, he also said he has his eyes set on the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award. Garrett knows that Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams is the leader in that race and that he will have to do something special to get into the mix.

In Week 12, look for him to start playing well enough to get more attention. If Garrett is going to catch Donald (who leads the NFL with 14.5 sacks) he’s going to need some huge games. With them motivated to end their long road losing streak, Garrett digs deep in our second prediction and delivers a three-sack performance.

Even if he doesn’t win any awards, Garrett has been amazing this season and keeps making the Browns look good for selecting him No. 1 overall in 2017.
