How the Cleveland Browns won Fandom 250
By Shane Carter
The Cleveland Browns have some of the most loyal fans, but it was the work they did this past season that helped push them atop the Fandom 250
Browns fans have paid their dues, time after time. For years and years of mediocrity and sometimes worse than that, the Cleveland Browns fan base has had to wait. Wait for their time.
Now, with the future brighter than ever for the franchise, the world is starting to recognize and reward their patience.

For those that don’t know, the Fandom 250 is the annual ranking of fan-bases. These include sports, movies, music, etc. Browns fans have always been patient and now it looks like it’s finally paying off.
This ranking is understandable. Not only does Cleveland house some of the most loyal fans in the world, but they also finally have a product worth putting on TV and that’s allowed the rest of the world to see how great these fans really are.
GM Jon Dorsey deserves much of the credit. During his time he’s added plenty of talented players like Damarius Randall, Jarvis Landry, E.J. Gaines, T.J. Carrie and Terrance Mitchell. He’s also drafted players like Genard Avery, Nick Chubb, Antonio Callaway, Denzel Ward and of course, Cleveland’s newest superstar Baker Mayfield.
Since LeBron James left for Los Angeles, Cleveland has been clamoring for some sort of hope. They’ve found it in this new Browns squad and as a result the fan base is rejuvenated and have finally become a talking point among the NFL (and now the entire entertainment world) and not just a joke.
The future looks bright for the Browns and not only have the fans noticed but the so has all of fandom. Today is bright but tomorrow looks even brighter for what has been one of the dimmest franchises is sports. Congratulations Dawg Pound!
