The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including Austin Corbett needing to prove a lot to win a starting job.
When the Cleveland Browns went on their hot streak to end the 2018 season, one of the biggest strengths of the entire team was the offensive line.
After struggling during the first half of the year, the offensive line became a strong unit who kept Baker Mayfield unbelievably clean in the pocket.
A big reason for that was the play of the interior offensive line: Joel Bitonio, J.C. Tretter, and Kevin Zeitler. Despite the strong play from this unit, that did not prevent the Browns front office from making a change on the starting offensive line.

"The job won’t come with a ceremony, a bouquet of roses or an honorary placard. Corbett will have to earn it, and Dorsey made sure that won’t come easily when he signed veteran guards Eric Kush and Bryan Witzmann in March."
When Zeitler was traded, it seemed like a guarantee Corbett would instantly become the starter. But with the signings on the offensive line this off-season, Corbett will have to show during the summer and in training camp that he can handle being a starting lineman in the NFL.
Odell Beckham Jr. opens up about being traded to the Browns
There were a lot of questions about Odell Beckham Jr.’s mindset after being traded to the Cleveland Browns. Mike Lukas writes that Beckham had many different feelings in the preceding days following the announcement of the trade.
"Now reunited, the duo will receive the familiar tutelage of wide receiver coach Adam Henry. Henry coached the pair in Baton Rouge during their final two years and spent time as the pass game coordinator in 2012."
Not only are Beckham and Jarvis Landry the perfect duo because of their personalities, but their abilities on the football field work extremely well together. After playing together and succeeding at LSU, the Browns should go back and see why they worked so well together during their college days.
