Not every player is off to a great start in training camp. Here, we look at three members of the Cleveland Browns who haven’t started out quickly in 2019.

There’s nothing in life that takes longer than an NFL offseason. For diehard fans, the long stretch of inactivity is hard to deal with, but thankfully that’s coming to an end as training camps around the league are in full swing.

For fans of the Cleveland Browns, that wait has been excruciating as there’s been a lot of excitement about the changes made to the roster. Following a 5-2 finish to last season, and some additions  — which include wideout Odell Beckham, Jr., edge rusher Olivier Vernon, and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson — fans have been ready for the 2019 Training Camp to begin for what feels like an eternity.

Thankfully, that has finally happened as we now have four days worth of practices in the books. Throughout the first few days, we have already seen some players step up and start to show they’re ready for the season to get underway.

As great as it is to see some players make positive waves, there will usually be just as many who get off to a slow start. This could be due to them learning a new team, a different system, or maybe even be a case of the player coming back from an injury.

Whatever the reason, here we look at three players who haven’t had the start to the first few days of camp that they would have liked. There’s still time to make things up of course, but as of now, they have some work to do.
