The Cleveland Browns have built a roster full of weapons on both sides of the ball, even though the offense generates most of the attention.
Lost in the talk about Cleveland’s star-studded offense is the potential ferocity of the Browns defensive line and front seven. With a defensive line led by Myles Garrett, they could become a nightmare for opponents.

Myles Garrett: ‘I want to look like a Grecian god’ – ESPN The Magazine
"I’m excited, but at the end of the day you got to actually put thoughts into action. Odell, Baker, Jarvis, they all put in the work to make this year special. We just got to believe in each other. The D-line, we’ve all been at OTAs together; nobody’s really missed any days so we’re all really getting that chemistry. It’s going to be a blood bath."
There is no question the Browns have enough talent to be one of the best teams in the NFL this season. However, the talent will not be useful if the roster does not become a cohesive unit. But based on Garrett’s beliefs, it appears the team has built up their chemistry, which could lead to the start of a fun season for the Dawg Pound.
Ex-Browns quarterbacks sacked on cut down day, but some survive
The Cleveland Browns have had their fair share of misses at quarterback over the past several years, but that is no longer a concern with Baker Mayfield. Elliot Kennel looks at the fates of several former Browns signal callers after cut down day.
"“I have full confidence in all our playmakers, our skill position guys that if they have one-on-ones, they should be licking their chops and they should all take that as disrespect because that’s the type of team we have and we need to take advantage of,’’ Mayfield said. “It’s going to be a matchup game.’’"
The Browns have a wide arsenal of offensive weapons that it will make it hard for the Titans to consistently get the matchups they want. Mayfield knows this, which is why he is confident Cleveland will be able to take advantage of the matchups Tennessee gives them on Sunday.
