Cleveland Browns 7-round mock draft after 1st quarter of the season
By Randy Gurzi
For the second time in their first three picks, the Browns address the offensive line as they take Trey Smith out of Tennessee. Cleveland has shown that their offense can be dangerous as Baker Mayfield and company have made some nice plays — including a couple of touchdowns over 80-yards already this season.

What they haven’t been able to do is play consistent football. A lot of that has to do with the struggles of the line. Tristan Wirfs has already been added to try and improve the tackle position but they still need to address the right guard spot.
Eric Kush has been starting there this season but hasn’t been standing out in a good way. Part of that could be the fact that he was thrown into a tough situation as he’s replacing Kevin Zeitler, who was one of the better interior linemen in the game. Even so, the Browns need an upgrade there and Smith can offer that.
He’s one of the more powerful offensive linemen out there and will open some massive holes for Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt — provided he returns next season.
There are some concerns with Smith though as he does have some medical concerns. But if he is cleared and healthy, this could prove to be the steal of the draft.
