With their first pick in the third round, the Browns finally make a move to try and bolster their offensive line by looking to what you can likely start to call Offensive Lineman U: The University of Georgia.

While many expect the Browns to target an offensive tackle or two in the draft, they instead look to the interior of that offensive line and draft Solomon Kindley, the Bulldogs guard.

While Joel Bitonio has one of the guard positions locked down, the other side is still a weakness, with Wyatt Teller struggling at many points this season to hold his own.

While there are plenty of offensive tackle options that would be worth taking here, the free agency pool is going to be rather full of good players that can contribute and compete for those spots. The upside for Kindley is high enough that it warrants the Browns to take him with their first pick in the third round.

Kindley is a powerful guard prospect that simply bowls people over in the run game, but has the balance and leverage to take the hits when he sits back in pass protection. He’s a very intelligent player, and if he can remain focused on the situations at hand and can use his size and talent to be a force for the Browns on the offensive line for a long time.
