The Cleveland Browns have had their share fair share of problems during the 2019 regular season, on and off the field. Baker Mayfield has been vulnerable to the problems as well, and it has taken a toll on his confidence.
The Browns offense boasts weapons all over the field, but Mayfield has taken a step back since his rookie season. He has thrown more interceptions, taken more sacks, and has struggled to push the ball down the field.
All-in-all this season, Mayfield has statistically been one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league. That is a far cry from last season when Mayfield was showing the potential of being one of next best young quarterbacks in the NFL.

Mayfield has not looked comfortable this season and he is not throwing with the same accuracy he did in 2018. He may not be the Browns’ real problem this season, but it is clear whatever he is doing with the coaching staff this season is not working.

In terms of offseason hype, the Cleveland Browns are clearly the most disappointing team in 2019. Not once this season did it seem like the Browns had figured things out, despite a three-game winning streak in the middle of the season. Never did they seem like the juggernaut they were expected to be with all of their talent, making them a major disappointment.
