Cleveland Browns News: Is Odell Beckham Jr.’s role on team in danger?
By Randy Gurzi
The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news, including the question about what is going to happen with Odell Beckham, Jr. after his off-field incident
Once again, the Cleveland Browns saw themselves in the news for the wrong reasons. Star wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. had a little bit too much fun watching his LSU Tigers win the National Championship on Monday and ruffled a few feathers in the process.
After the game, he was on the field handing out money to the winning team. LSU said it was phony money, but Joe Burrow later said it was real. That wasn’t where OBJ got in trouble though.
Instead, he found himself in hot water as a warrant for his arrest was issued after he slapped a cop on the backside inside the LSU locker room.
There are a lot of questions here. One is why the cop was in there in the first place. Two is why the cop was so angry. Three would be why OBJ thought it was okay to slap an angry cop on the buttocks. Four is why the heck OBJ was even in the locker room with a bunch of college kids.

What should new Cleveland Browns leaders do about Odell Beckham Jr? — Terry Pluto, Cleveland.com
"“I’m not suggesting they address this question immediately. But they do need to deal with it before training camp opens in July:What to do with Odell Beckham Jr.?”"
Pluto mentions new coach Kevin Stefanski as well as the fact that Paul DePodesta has a bigger voice in the room now. He also says there will be a new GM. Will these decision-makers forgive OBJ? Or will this test Stefanski’s “Personality is welcome, production is required” phrase? Only time will tell.
Report: Arrest warrant issued for Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr.
It seemed like a bit of an overreaction but still, a warrant was issued for OBJ in LSU booty-gate. We’ll see what happens, but Dan Justik had his take on the whole thing here.
"“Cleveland running back Nick Chubb and wideout Jarvis Landry, Pittsburgh defensive end Cameron Heyward and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, Denver linebacker Von Miller, New England cornerback Stephon Gilmore, New Orleans defensive end Cameron Jordan and Detroit cornerback Darius Slay will all take part in the event at ESPN Wide World of Sports on January 22. “"
Hey, some news about football. If only anyone watched the Pro Bowl anymore. Instead of doing this, they need to just bring back the quarterback challenge. And let’s get the video game back while we’re at it.
