With the tenth pick in the draft, the Browns can’t go wrong if they draft the best offensive tackle available. Jedrick Wills Jr.’s selection range has been between fourth to the Giants and 10th to the Browns, so there is a possibility he is not there. I believe Wills to be the best tackle in the draft. If he’s not there, then the only offensive tackle that would be worth the 10th overall pick right now is Andrew Thomas.

The Browns would be wise to draft an offensive tackle in the first round. The team has a desperate need at the position and new offensive line coach Bill Callahan has done a wonderful job developing offensive linemen. Notable offensive linemen that Callahan has developed include Zack Martin, Travis Frederick, Brandon Scherff, and Matt Slauson. He also was in New York for all of D’Brickashaw Ferguson’s three Pro Bowls, and also helped develop Nick Mangold to his first Pro Bowl.

Callahan is the offensive line whisperer, and Wills Jr. could be the next great lineman he develops. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, Wills is an absolute unit. A 28 game starter in his three years at Alabama, there is no shortage of awards that Wills has won. Watching his tape, Wills has good footwork and is an absolute mauler in the run game. He currently plays right tackle for the Crimson Tide, and if the Browns draft him, they should keep him at right tackle.
