Jedrick Wills Jr, in my opinion, would be a home run pick for the Browns. The right tackle is one of the most underrated positions in the NFL. Everyone believes that the left tackles are the most important offensive lineman, but I would argue that the right tackle is just as important. If I was a defensive coordinator, I would be putting my best pass rusher on the right tackle, as they are usually the less paid and less talented offensive tackle.

An elite right tackle, Wills Jr would be a day one started and anchor a position that the Browns have had a serious need at since Mitchell Schwartz left in free agency. It will be easier to find a day one starter in the draft at left tackle. The left tackle free agency market is also significantly better than the right tackle free agency market.

Now, specifically to Wills, he has the best punch in the NFL draft. His hands are some of the more explosive that I’ve seen in my life, and his footwork is pretty crisp too. His biggest knock is his height, but his arms, the important part, are 34 and one-fourth inches long, which is longer than Josh Jones’ arms. I

t will be a surprise to me if Wills is available at pick No. 10, so if he is, the Browns need to snag him. This offensive draft class is so talented and has at least five guys who I am confident will be future pro bowl offensive linemen. Wills is one of them, and I don’t think the Browns can go wrong with whichever one they take.

With Jedrick Wills Jr, it’s either he is the tenth pick for the Browns, or he’s playing for another team.

There have been some rumors of Austin Jackson sneaking into the first round. I’m not that high on Austin Jackson, but some who get paid the big bucks, like Daniel Jeremiah, believe he is a top 32 prospect. I believe the Browns would be targeting Jackson as a late first-round prospect to trade down for or a potential option with the 41st pick.

Jackson has great size, at 6-foot-5, 322 lbs, and with 34 and one eighth inch arms. On paper, he checks all the important boxes and tested well at the NFL combine. His tape isn’t as good as some of the other guys on this list, which is what concerns me if he does end up being the Browns first-round pick. I see Austin Jackson as a potential project. If there’s any coach you want to have a project prospect, it is Bill Callahan.

My only concern would be making him a day one starter, which is what you want out of your first-round pick. Jackson is likely a day two prospect to me, and I think that is where the Browns will be looking to draft him.
