5. Browns at Cincinnati Bengals – Nov. 25, 2018

Nick Chubb had a solid performance against the Cincinnati Bengals in week 12 of 2018. He ended the game with only 84 yards on 28 carries which is not very efficient or one of his higher-yard games, but he did have a rushing and receiving touchdown to add to his stat line.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

The main reason this game cracks his top five list is because of his touchdown reception. Late in the second quarter, Chubb ran a wheel route out of the backfield to the left pylon.

Baker Mayfield lofted a pass and Chubb went up and caught the ball over the defender, seemingly off of the defender’s shoulder pads. It was a remarkable catch for a running back who isn’t known to be a huge threat as a receiver.

Browns fans who watched the game or highlights of that game will remember that catch for a long time.

He showed his ability to track the ball and go up and make a great play, despite excellent coverage.

His stats that game weren’t off the charts by his standards, but Chubb still finished the game with 128 total yards and two total touchdowns.

That is a great game for a back, regardless of his lack of running efficiency. His highlight-reel catch caps off his performance.
