The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including the organization getting to work on a uniform tweak.
The Cleveland Browns revealed their “new” uniforms on Wednesday, and based on general consensus, they hit the makeover right out of the park. Although they returned to their old uniforms prior to the 2015 makeover, it was a switch back that the fans wanted.
Instead of trying to modernize their uniforms or putting some sort of crazy twist on them, the Browns decided to return to their classic and clean look. The Browns are one of the few teams in the NFL who have classic uniforms that should rarely be changed, and the organization understood that.
Despite the Browns fan base loving the uniforms reveal, there was still a little something left to be desired. The one thing missing from the reveal was an option for the Browns to wear orange pants, which is the one thing fans wanted to see in the reveal.

The fans desire for orange pants has already reached organization, as today’s featured article mentions how the Browns could already be planning a uniform tweak.

"“I know orange pants have been part of the Kardiac Kids and a lot of tradition, but I don’t know, we’ll see,’’ he said. “We’ll have to just stay tuned and see what happens there. If we can find a way to talk Nike into getting us some orange pants, we’ll get to work on that. We’ll see what we can do.’’"
When the Browns repeatedly said they wanted to return to their roots, images of the Browns in 1970’s and 1980’s wearing the orange pants came to mind for Browns fans. It may only be a minor detail in the uniform makeover, but if the Browns can manage to wear orange pants again, there is no doubt they will have nailed the uniform makeover.
Why the Cleveland Browns will get a great season from OBJ
Odell Beckham Jr. managed to top 1,000 yards in his first year with the Browns, but it was considered a poor year from the star wide receiver. Clay Goodwin explains why Beckham will have a massive turnaround season in 2020.
"Cleveland Browns chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta said Thursday that despite wholesale changes to the coaching staff and front office this offseason, the team is not looking to break up its young core of players. That includes star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is a constant subject of trade rumors."
The Cleveland Browns have built themselves a solid group of young, core players over the past several years, and it has them looking at being in playoff contention. Beckham is a part of the core, so it would make no sense for the Browns to trade the receiver unless they get a massive offer they can’t refuse. That is unlikely, so the constant Beckham trade chatter just needs to end.
Should the Browns trade back in the first round?
One of the biggest expectations in the 2020 NFL Draft is that the Browns will trade back from the No. 10 overall pick under general manager Andrew Berry. Frank Teriaca discusses if trading back is the right decision for the Browns.
