By Dan Justik
The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including how they are set to be a surprise team in 2020.
It is well known at this point, but the 2019 Cleveland Browns were a massive disappointment after struggling mightily last season. An offseason full of expectations got into the players’ heads, which caused them to fail to reach those expectations, and did not even come close to reaching them.
The Browns won the “offseason championship” last season after making several big additions to the roster. Cleveland once again had another solid offseason again this year, but most people are hesitant to put any high expectations on the Browns after they miserable 2019 campaign.
Cleveland seems more prepared to reach their 2019 expectations this year, as the roster is more complete and is tailor made for how the new coaching staff wants to deploy their systems.

Cleveland Browns News
"Put it all together, and it might finally be time for the Browns to live up to the talent and hype. On paper, this team is better than Pittsburgh offensively and as strong as Baltimore defensively. It should be in the mix through December."
Cleveland has even more talent on their roster this year than they did last season, and the pieces fit even better together as well. If the new coaching staff is able to implement their systems without many issues caused by the condensed offseason, the Browns have a lot of potential for success in 2020.
Is Everson Griffen finally set to visit the Cleveland Browns?
The Cleveland Browns were connected to Jadeveon Clowney this offseason, but they may have a better shot at signing a different veteran free agent defensive end. Randy Gurzi looks at if Everson Griffen is finally ready to take a visit to the Browns facility.
Analysis: Plenty of questions, concerns remain at linebacker – Scott Petrak, BrownsZone
"The lack of proven NFL talent — Goodson has started 29 games in four years — has left many fans anxious about the second level of the defense and hoping for another veteran to be added by training camp. Berry is open to improving the roster in any way possible, but he and Stefanski seem comfortable with a youth movement at the position."
The Browns seem comfortable with the young group of linebackers because they believe their hunger for success will push the unit. However, the groups inexperience and lack of veteran leadership could prove to be detrimental. And if their additions to the group this offseason do not pan out, then the group could be in a lot of trouble.
3 dream trade targets for the Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns do not have many position groups they could improve upon with the lack of talent being on the trade block or available in free agency. However, here are some dream trade targets for the Browns, even though there is likely no chance these players will be traded.
