Baker Mayfield might still have some doubters out there, but you won’t find any of them in orange and brown. The Cleveland Browns and their players are all in on No. 6 and after leading them to a second win in a row, we got another example of Mayfield showing his leadership.

In their win over the Washington Football Team, Mayfield realized that two of his players have been giving in their all and have yet to get the targets they’re used to. Those players are Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry who have been playing within new coach Kevin Stefanski’s system and that has included them getting less passes thrown their way than they have had in the past.

Understanding this, Mayfield pulled the two stars aside and reminded them that he loves them and that their time is coming.

That story and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

Browns’ Baker Mayfield to Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry: ‘I love you boys; be patient’ — Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

"“In a moment of unbridled exuberance, Baker Mayfield rushed over to Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham after his fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Harrison Bryant during Sunday’s 34-20 victory over Washington, put his arms around both and said ‘I love you boys. Be patient. I love you.’”"

Neither Landry or OBJ have had the success this season they’re used to but they have been selflessly blocking and doing everything asked of them. The stats will come for them and Mayfield is reminding them of this.

Browns Add Former Steelers WR/Returner Ryan Switzer to PS — Fred Greetham, 247 Sports

"“The Cleveland Browns continue to look for a replacement for JoJo Natson to upgrade their return game. They looked to a former division rival to do so by adding former Steelers wide receiver/kick returner Ryan Switzer to their practice squad.”"

Cleveland really liked JoJo Natson as a return man and it wasn’t easy to see him go down. They could have a decent replacement here in Ryan Switzer, although he will start on the practice squad as they get him up to speed.
