4. Depth at running back shines

The news on Nick Chubb is tough to take as a Brown’s fan, but at least the news is somewhat positive. With an MCL injury, ESPN reported that he is expected back in the lineup in six weeks. The offensive line will have to continue to open up big holes to keep this running game going strong.

While it’s horrible to lose a talent like Chubb, the good news is the Browns have a lot of depth at the position. Kareem Hunt can carry most of the workload if he can get 100 percent healthy while D’Ernest Johnson and Dontrell Hilliard can pick up the slack when Hunt needs a breather.

While the Cowboys defense certainly isn’t a top-five in the league, Chubb went out early and the group was able to compile over 300 yards of rushing for the game. That is right, 300 yards which is an unbelievable stat for a high school team, let alone in the NFL.

The Indianapolis Colts have a tremendous defense that has been stingy giving up points. While The Washington Football Team had a more dynamic pass-rush, this will be the Brown’s toughest test yet this season.

Stefanski will once again trust his system and try to pound the football with or without Chubb.  The offensive line will certainly be up for the task with another strong Bill Callahan game plan. Look for Hunt to eclipse 100 yards with the entire unit racking up 200 total rushing yards vs. the Colts on Sunday.
