Cleveland Browns: 5 Bold predictions for Week 6 vs. Steelers
By Randy Gurzi
3. Jarvis gets 1st TD catch
One thing we all saw on Sunday was that Jarvis Landry is a warrior. When he first arrived on scene with the Browns, he was preaching playing through pain — which he says happens by practicing through the pain.
He had a passionate speech on ‘Hard Knocks’ which established him as a leader. So far, he’s proving he can walk the walk as well talk the talk as he not only has yet to miss a game in a Browns uniform but he also stayed in the game this past Sunday despite being in visible pain.
Landry went down after a reception and it was unclear what was hampering him but he struggled to get up — considering he had hip surgery in the offseason, there was legitimate reason to be concerned. Thankfully, Juice stayed in the game but he had a couple of drops as it seemed he wasn’t 100 percent. Even with that being the case, he finished with 88 yards on four receptions.
For the season, he now has 279 yards on 21 receptions but has yet to record a touchdown. Look for that to end in Week 6 against the Steelers as he will not only be back on the field and receiving the most targets on the team, but will find his way to paydirt for his 11th touchdown as a member of the Browns and the first of 2020.
