Game: Cleveland Browns (4-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (4-0)

Summary: Following their Week 5 win over the Indianapolis Colts, the Cleveland Browns are now 4-1 — and that hasn’t happened since the 1994 season when Bill Belichick was on the Browns sidelines and actually owned sleeves. Cleveland fans have been suffering for years and no one deserves this winning streak more than they do. The problem is, the respect outside of Cleveland still isn’t there.

They’ve knocked off a high-powered offense in the Dallas Cowboys as well as a great defense in the Colts. But still, they’re not being given the respect they deserve. We all knew that would be the case and this Week 6 game against the hated Pittsburgh Steelers has been circled as the one that really counts for them for quite some time.

There’s an extra layer here as well with Myles Garrett taking the field for the first time against Pittsburgh since his suspension a year ago. Thankfully whoever covers that game will surely refrain from driving that into the ground, but we might hear something about it.

Garrett is going to be extra motivated to come out and prove that the aforementioned moment won’t define who he is. He will also be trying to further cement his status as the front-runner for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year. While he will surely do that, the result of this game will come down to Baker Mayfield and the offense.

In full disclosure, I recently predicted the Browns to lose in this game when looking ahead following the quarter mark but thought they would win when the two teams met later in Cleveland. After watching the Steelers struggle against the Eagles, I am changing my pick. Look for Garrett and the defense to bend but not break as they force a couple of turnovers once again while Kareem Hunt and Baker Mayfield do just enough to steal one on the road.

Prediction: Cleveland 31, Steelers 30
