3. Landry gets another TD completion

The John Dorsey era ended poorly for the Browns as he was shown the door following the failure in hiring Freddie Kitchens as head coach. Kitchens being chosen as the coach in 2019 wasn’t Dorsey’s only error though as he also whiffed on some big draft picks, such as Austin Corbett at No. 33 overall.

But not everything Dorsey did was bad. In fact, he added a lot of talent and one of the best acquisitions he made was when he landed Jarvis Landry in a trade with the Miami Dolphins. Landry joined Cleveland ahead of the 2018 season and instantly gave their wide receiving corps some credibility. He recorded 81 receptions in 2018 for 976 yards and added 83 in 2019 for 1,174 more.

So far in 2020, he hasn’t been as dominant, recording 29 receptions for 367 yards with no touchdowns yet. Still, with OBJ out, look for Landry to continue to be a steadying force as he continues to provide a reliable set of hands. Although, he offers more than that as he has been successful on trick plays as a passer as well.

In his career, Landry is 4-of-6 in passing for 128 yards with a touchdown pass. That touchdown came in Week 4 against Dallas when he threw a 37-yarder to Odell Beckham. In Week 7, he again threw a pass, this time connecting with Donovan Peoples-Jones for 19 yards. This build prediction once again puts the ball in Landry’s hands as a passer, and the play ends in him throwing it for his second career touchdown pass.
