Cleveland Browns: 5 Bold predictions for Week 10 vs. Houston Texans

2. The secondary has a couple of picks
Cleveland’s defense has been suspect this season, to say the least. They’ve had some games where they can’t stop the run at all — for example, their last outing against the Las Vegas Raiders. There were also games where they couldn’t stop the opposing passer from inserting his will — for example, every game this year.
Their one saving grace has been their ability to turn the ball over. In eight games, the Browns have seven picks, including one pick-six from safety Ronnie Harrison. There have been many other near-interceptions, including one from Harrison against Las Vegas last week that likely would have gone for six as well. There are also nine forced fumbles that have been credited to this defense as they have been very opportunistic.
Easily the No. 1 reason for the turnovers is their pass rush. Myles Garrett has been fantastic this season as he already has nine sacks and has forced four fumbles on his own. He’s also generated a lot of pressure that led to some bad picks. In this prediction, Garrett continues to get after Deshaun Watson — as does Olivier Vernon who was mentioned earlier. That leads to Watson throwing several passes up for grabs, which results in two interceptions for the Browns defense.
