Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know
In need of help in the secondary due to a myriad of injuries, the Cleveland Browns made a move on Monday. The Browns were awarded Tedric Thompson, who was on waivers after playing eight games for the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
With Ronnie Harrison suffering an injury in their win over Jacksonville, we were reminded of how hard it has been for Cleveland in the secondary. They are already without cornerback Greedy Williams and safety Grant Delpit for the season while Harrison and fellow safety Karl Joseph have each had their share of issues staying healthy.
Making matters worse, star cornerback Denzel Ward has been sidelined with a calf injury and he could be out Week 13 against Tennessee.
As for Thompson, he’s a fourth-year pro who spent his first three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks before joining Kansas City this season.

A fourth-round pick out of Colorado, Thompson has appeared in 37 career games with 16 starts. He started 10 games in 2018 and another six in 2019 for the Seattle Seahawks. He has 93 career tackles with three interceptions. A free safety by trade, Thompson could end up being a late-season find for a team desperate for some secondary help.
