Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know
The Cleveland Browns might not have won in great fashion in Week 12, but they won, which did wonders for them. Now with a three-game winning streak, they’ve improved to 8-3 on the season and built a decent lead in the Wild Card race.
That’s huge for a team that hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2002 — which also happens to be the longest streak in the NFL currently. At this point, it’s hard not picturing them in the playoffs.
That’s the subject of the top article we see in today’s Daily Dawg Tags. The Browns are a playoff-bound team, as long as they don’t mess things up down the stretch.
This story and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.
Cleveland Browns news
"“The Browns still play the putrid New York Jets and Giants, who aren’t very good either. If they win those games, as they should, that’s 10 wins. It would be hard to catch them”"
As Schwab says, the Browns should have this in the bag. Their games against Tennessee, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh are all up in the air but there’s little doubt they can win the two games in New York. Do that, and they should be in the playoffs. Win one of the other three as well, and it’s all but guaranteed.
Browns announce unofficial depth chart vs. Titans — ClevelandBrowns.com
"“Cleveland is looking to win its 4th straight game Sunday”"
There really aren’t any surprises here, but the good thing is, Myles Garrett is back in the lineup.
"“Well, the Browns do have Myles Garrett and he’s a much better pass-rusher than anything Tennessee has, but the Titans are better at everything else and what I’m trying to say here is that I’m taking Tennessee in a blowout. The pick: Titans 34-20 over Browns”"
This is not very nice. We all want the Browns to win, so let’s just ignore these predictions.
Cleveland Browns players react to, struggle with first snow of season — Ben Axelrod, WKYC.com
"“Taking to social media on Tuesday, Browns cornerback — and Louisiana native — Greedy Williams shared a video of Harrison having a tough time clearing snow off of his truck.”"
It’s times like this where we remember that Ronnie Harrison played collegiately at Alabama and then spent the first couple of seasons of his career in Jacksonville. On top of that, he was a Florida kid in high school, so this Cleveland weather is not his norm. At least he has friends like Greedy Williams to document it all for him.
Is Baker Mayfield going to be the guy for the Cleveland Browns or not?
Steve Gessic is a believer in Baker Mayfield and he just wants to know whether or not the team is ready to roll with him going forward. And he also admits, it could be a tough decision for them when the time comes to renew his contract.
Nick Chubb should be in the MVP conversation
Nick Chubb has been a beast since returning from a knee injury and Justice Sunderland doesn’t think he gets the love he deserves. In fact, he believes No. 24 is having an MVP-caliber season.
