Stud: The Whole Offensive Line

A big man touchdown! Kendall Lamm with the great grab, bringing pride and joy to all current and former offensive linemen across the country. You’re crazy if you thought that the boys upfront wouldn’t make the stud list. Not only did one of them actually score, but they also played amazing all game in pass protection.

Baker Mayfield didn’t get sacked and I can’t remember a time that he was actually pressured due to an offensive lineman getting beat. Wyatt Teller versus Jeffrey Simmons was must-watch TV when the two went against each other, and Teller had his number all game long. The rest of the offensive line did just as well, minus a penalty or two.

The unit didn’t do that great in run blocking, but their insane pass protection earns them a solid spot on the dud list.

Dud: All Of The Secondary

It’s clear how important Denzel Ward is to the Cleveland Browns. If I was Andrew Berry, I would be drafting a cornerback with my first-round pick this upcoming season. This team needs cornerbacks very badly. Terrance Mitchell and the whole crew struggled throughout the game. They did make a few plays, including a few forced fumbles, but those mask what was otherwise a bad performance out of the whole unit.

The Tennessee Titans are no pushovers when it comes to their passing attack, as they have one of my favorite quarterbacks in the game in Ryan Tannehill, along with one of my favorite wide receivers in AJ Brown. However, allowing Tannehill to go for almost 400 yards and allowing Corey Davis of all people to almost have 200 yards receiving against you is not good. Albeit most of these yards were in garbage time, the Browns still need to figure out how to close out games. The secondary showed that they cannot be relied upon to close out blowouts for the 2nd time this season, the first coming against the Cowboys.
